Section 153
Execution of judgment to be suspended
(1) The court shall suspend the execution of the judgment in the following cases:-
(a) If there is an appeal in a case that can be appealed according to law, until the end of the case from the end of the appeal or until the deadline for filing an appeal is paid,
(b) If there is a case in which the seeker is presented according to the law, until the presented seeker is disposed of.
(2) In case of an appeal in accordance with clause (a) of sub-section (1), the party making the appeal shall file an application for the action appealed against in the relevant court.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), except as otherwise provided in this Code, if an offender is found to be liable to imprisonment, such offender shall be immediately sent to imprisonment.
